Good news for VR in the Apple 2017 Worldwide Developers Conference: Apple will now partner with Valve to bring native MAC support for SteamVR . This feature will be available with the new iMAC line starting at $1299 + external GPU or any MacBook that is Thunderbolt 3 compatible to utilize the eGPU (releasing in Spring 2018). iMAC Pro line will be VR ready at $4999. This means Mac users can now join the VR experience using Vive.
